The Five Stages

Scroll Through the Journey

Each stage has a clear purpose, a clear set of expectations, and a realistic timeline. No surprises.

  1. 01Stage

    Supplement

    Purpose

Our team makes sure the scope, quantities, and materials on your claim match what the job actually needs and what building code requires. We use the same estimating software the major carriers use, so the numbers line up.

    What to Expect

Once we file the supplement, everything moves on autopilot. You receive an email with your carrier copied that highlights any missed items in bold. You do not need to chase anyone. We drive it.

    Timeline
    1 - 2 Weeks

Most of the wait is on the adjuster, who is juggling many claims at once. We set the expectation conservative on purpose so we do not over-promise.

  2. 02Stage

    In the Meantime

    Purpose

While the supplement is being reviewed, two things happen on your side. Your first insurance check arrives, and if you have an HOA you start gathering their requirements. Getting these ready now keeps the next step on schedule.

    What to Expect

If your check is mortgage-co-payable, call your mortgage company and ask their endorsement process. Have your HOA information in hand. Once the adjuster accepts the supplement, our scheduling team calls you to book your colors meeting.

    Timeline
    About 3 Days to Book

Typically scheduled 7 business days after the supplement closes.

  3. 03Stage

    Project Design Meeting

    Purpose

You meet your Project Designer to pick shingle colors, lock in your install timeline, and add any extras (gutters, ridge vent, skylight, and similar) to the scope. This is the fun part of the process.

    What to Expect

Deposit your endorsed insurance check into your account before the meeting so you can write a check to Supreme for the deposit when you sit down with your Designer. We do not order materials or schedule crews until that deposit is in.

    Timeline
    1 - 5 Days

Roughly 3 weeks total from the moment our scheduling team first called you, longer in some cases.

  4. 04Stage

    Coordinating

    Purpose

Once your deposit is in, our coordinating team orders all materials and locks down the install logistics. Delivery dates, crew schedule, dumpster, and property protection are all sequenced here so install day runs smoothly.

    What to Expect

We work hard to move fast, but material lead times can vary depending on the roof system you picked. If anything slips, the coordinating team contacts you with an updated date. You will not have to ask.

    Timeline
    4 - 6 Weeks

8 - 10 weeks for specialty materials (designer shingle, metal, tile).

  5. 05Stage

    Install and Project Management

    Purpose

About a week before install, your Project Manager calls with the material arrival date and the day-of plan. They run the crew, manage the site, and stay your point of contact through completion.

    What to Expect

Crews protect your property, install, and clean up. Final payment is due upon substantial completion. Your Project Manager photographs the finished work and sends a completion report to your insurance carrier so your adjuster can release the depreciation, typically about 2 weeks if you take payment by check. Please loop us in immediately if your carrier requests additional paperwork so we can keep the final payment on track.

    Timeline
    1 - 3 Days On-Site

Depending on roof size and material type.

Bottom Line

About 10 - 12 Weeks
From Storm to Signed Off.

Most insurance restoration jobs run on this timeline. Specialty materials (designer shingle, metal, tile) can push the coordinating phase out by 4 additional weeks. Storm damage that requires structural rebuild adds more variability. Supreme Restorations sets the expectation honestly up front.
